City road in the future that will serve for emergency purposes in the interim, <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that Mr. Johnson has property rights; because people <br />petitioned against the plat doesn't mean certain things have to happen. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Council is trying to deal with ordinances regarding <br />cul-de-sacs and dead end streets by gaining second access to this plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the City can assist in obtaining necessary easements <br />if Mr. Johnson is willing to pay the cost of same. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson stated that Mr. Gorton i$ not willing to make the private easement <br />public because he is opposed to the plat of Autumn Meadows. <br /> <br />Jeff Struvy - 8453 168th - Stated that Mr. Gorton opposes the plat because he <br />sold the property to Mr. Johnson with a verbal agreement that it would not be <br />developed. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that roads are the responsibility of the developer; the <br />City can assist in acquiring the necessary easements but any costs incurred are <br />the responsibility of the developer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that if Mr. Johnson utilizes the City's assistance, be <br />would also be responsible for staff time involved in acquiring the easements. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson stated that he needs more time to consider utilizing City <br />assistance to obtain easements. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson's son-in-law inquired as to what the City wants -- an easement for <br />emergency purposes or a road? <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca read from the September 30, 1986 Council minutes which <br />state Mr. Johnson's case is tabled until he can provide a 66' easement for <br />future development as a second access to the plat and to be used for emergency <br />purposes in the interim. <br /> <br />For SSte Plan Review; Case of Mr. Dennis Chuba For Great <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Chuba was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris explained that Great Plains Gas is proposing to construct a 26'x40' <br />office structure on the property at 7411 Hwy. #10 N.W. to replace the temporary <br />office structure they received a variance for in 1985, <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve <br />Mr. Dennis Chuba's request for site plan review for construction of an <br />office/display structure at 7411 Hwy. #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca.
