APPROVE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to approve the following <br />mi nutes as presented: <br /> <br />1) Planning Commission public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated March 13, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Reeve, Shepherd, Van Scoy and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated Februapy 11, 2003 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated February 25, 2003 <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Reeve noted the City Council minutes. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case#l: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Import Soils for the Village of <br /> Sunfish Lake Subdivision: Case of LTR Land Development, LLC. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski advised that the Village of Sunfish Lake has preliminary plat approval, <br />and is requesting a permit to import soil for the grading process. He noted the reason the City is <br />requiring a permit in this case is because they will be importing 30,000 yards of soil, and the City <br />wants to have some control on the route they will use to get it there. He stated the soil would be <br />brought in on Highway 10 to Highway 57 (Sunfish Lake Boulevard) to Sunwood Drive, and <br />would then be dumped on the parcel. He indicated the soil would quickly be incorporated into <br />the grading, and any stock pile would be very temporary. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt arrived at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to close the public hearing at <br />7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Can'ied. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Reeve, <br />Shepherd, Van Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: None <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer asked what common borrow material consisted of, and whether the City <br />has oversight of the material being brought in. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated the application states the material that will be similar to the <br />soil on site. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/April 3, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
