Item #16 - Amend to read as follows: 'That the proposed use will not <br />create excessive additional requirements for public facilities and <br />services; however, the proposed use will create additional traffic ia <br />the area and may be detrimental to the economic welfare of the community.' <br /> <br />Item #18 - Amend to read as follows: 'That the proposed use is not <br />consistent with the intent of Chapter 170.01 of the City Code.' <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember $orteberg to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0151, as amended, relating to a request by Mr. Dale Wirz for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a retail business from his nursery in the <br />R-iR Residential District. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings <br />of Fact 0151). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to deny, <br />based on the findings of fact, a request by Mr. Dale Wirz for a condtional use <br />permit to operate a retail business from his nursery in the R-1R Residential <br />District at 17201 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and $chlueter. Voting Ho: None. <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Automobile Sales <br /> Business In I-1 Industrial District: Case of Mr..Steve S£mons: <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Simons was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Simons is requesting a condtional use permit to <br />operate an automobile sales business in the I-1 Industrial District at 7205- <br />7210 Hwy. #10. Planning and Zoning is recommending denial of the request based <br />on concerns with continued use of two residential structures on the property, <br />access from Hwy. #10 and use of front yard setback for sales display area. <br /> <br />Council proceeded to review and amend the proposed findings of fact as follows: <br /> <br />Item #12 - Delete. <br /> <br />Item #13 - Amend as follows: 'That the proposed use may be hazardous or <br />disturbing to existing or future neighboring uses.' <br /> <br />Item #21 - Added: 'That the residential structures located on the <br />property will be occupied.' <br /> <br />Item #22 - Added: 'That the access from Hwy. #10 H.W. may be detrimental <br />to the general welfare of the public due to it's location.' <br /> <br />Item #23 - Added: 'That a storm sewer system does not currently exist in <br />the area.' <br /> City Council/Hovember 25, 1986 <br /> <br />Yage 8 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
