Amending the definition of hotel to require a minimum of 50 rooms. <br /> <br />Not including a provision for temporary on-sale and Sunday liquor <br />license. <br /> <br />Council directed City Staff to incorporate the changes to the proposed ordinance present <br />it to Council for consideration. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mike Hadtrath - 14693 Waco Street N.W. - Stated his dissatisfaction with the quality of <br />water in the City's municipal system and presented a sample of the water. <br /> <br />Jim Gilbertson - 17930 Ermine - Stated that he thought the results of the special <br />election closed the airport issue but he found an ad in a trades magazine that appears to <br />be advertising for construction of an airport in Ramsey. <br /> <br />City Staff stated that Council has not authorized calling for bids and no ad was placed. <br />(See Page for further discussion). <br /> <br />State Senator Greg Dahl was present and gave a summary of legislation he will be <br />working on in the 1989 session. <br /> <br />City Council directed Mr. Hartley to provide Senator Dahl with written comments <br />regarding Ramsey's concerns with various items including transportation, property tax <br />formula, local government aids, truth in taxation, etc. <br /> <br />Senator Dahl requested a meeting with Mr. Hadley to review Ramsey's concerns. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve the <br />agenda with the following adjustments: <br /> <br />Case #12: Purchase of Polyphosphate Equipment for the Municipal Water <br />System <br /> <br />Case #13: Schedule public hearing for no wake ordinance <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, <br />Peterson and Cich.
