Voting No: Councilmernbers Peterson and Cich. <br /> <br />Case #18: Report From Personnel Committee: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee met and made recommendations for <br />filling the positions of Accounting Technician and City Assessor and requested <br />authorization to fill the vacancy of Public Works Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to authorize <br />the City Administrator to extend an offer to Ms. Gayle Rogers for the position of <br />Accounting Technician at the rate of $8.00 per hour effective April 26, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to authorize <br />the City Administrator to extend an offer to Mr. John Keefe for the position of City <br />Assessor at the rate of $24,000 per year effective May 15, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to authorize <br />the Personnel Committee to fill the vacancy of Public Works Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #19: Proposed Parks Dedication Ordinance: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to schedule a joint meeting on May 11, 1989 with the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission and the Planning and Zoning Commission to review a final draft of <br />the proposed park dedication ordinance. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Arbor Day <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-04-87 proclaiming April 28, 1989 as "Arbor Day" and the month of May <br />1989 as "Arbor Month". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the <br />regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
