Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 : Approve Comprehensive Park Dedication Agreement of Entire <br /> Northfork P.U.D.: <br /> <br />See Page 4. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Discuss Action in Response to Lower Rum River Wi~tershed Distri¢~ <br />Suggestions Regardin_e Proposed Anoka County Rum River Ero~i0n <br />Control Ordinance to Limit Wake from Boats and Water Skiing on the <br />Rum River Within City Limits: <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson asked if this ordinance would restrict all of the Rum River or just the <br />lower part. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka explained that the Council would designate that. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann asked if there has been a lot of jet skiing on the river. <br /> <br />Mr. John Weaver said that it is increasing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson said that he would be in favor of a minimum wake with the restriction of <br />water and jet skiing. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann asked what would happen if we chose to do nothing. <br /> <br />Mr. Weaver said that it is the County's hope that each City would at least adopt something and they <br />could come to a consensus. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that Anoka County will probably be holding public hearings. <br /> <br />Regular City Council/May 9, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
