Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-136 authorizing purchase of park equipment for Autumn Heights Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 418: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Declaring Adequacy Of Petition And <br />Ordering Preparation Of Report To Consider Improvements On <br />Rivlyn Avenue N.W.: <br /> <br />It was noted that the city has received a petition requesting a feasibility study for the <br />improvement of Rivlyn Avenue by tarvia surfacing and/or the installation of sanitary sewer <br />and water utilities. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-137 declaring adequacy of petition and ordering preparation of report to <br />consider improvements on Rivlyn Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Approving Appraisal Values For <br />Improvement Project 4188-21 (153rd Avenue N.W.Burlington <br />Railroad Crossing): <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the condemnation process may be required in order to acquire all <br />necessary parcels for Improvement Project #88-21; condemnation requires that the <br />appraisals be approved by City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-138 which is a resolution approving the appraisal values for the <br />property to be acquired for City Improvement Project #88-21. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Personnel Committee Recommendation Regarding Secretary <br />Position: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that the Personnel Committee has interviewed and recommended <br />offering a secretary position to Jo Ann Thieling. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt Resolution #89- <br />06-139 offering the position of Secretary to JoAnn Thieling. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson.
