CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 1989 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:53 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that all resolutions in the Consent Agenda calling for hearings on 1989 <br />improvement projects which indicate an August 28 date should be changed to August 29. <br />In addition, the resolution in Consent Agenda Item 2 should be amended to indicate a total <br />bills amount of $284,881.84. Mr. Hartley provided Council with a draft letter, a revision <br />to that included in Council Business Case #7, regarding 4 in 40 zoning. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that during Mayor/Council Input, he would like Mr. Goodrich to <br />provide an update regarding the Plants and Things situation. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich replied that Council should obtain an update on Plants and Things from <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve <br />the agenda minor adjustments as discussed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann adjourned the regular meeting at 7:57 p.m. in order to conduct the <br />following public hearing: <br /> <br />City Council/August 8, 1989 <br /> Page 3 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
