The Planning and Zoning
Commission, in their review of the request, asked that the applicants provide a site plan of
the facility as it is proposed in it's entirety. The site plan was provided and after much
discussion, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request to
expand Ramsey Auto. The Commission expressed a great deal of concern with the auto lot
being an attractive nuisance which aggravates an already bad traffic situation when no off-
street parking is provided during off-business hours; and the tendency of the operators to
accumulate inoperable vehicles during their years of operation in Ramsey.

City Council/August 8, 1989
