Southeast Highway #10 Frontage Project.' <br /> <br />The southeast Highway #10 frontage project consists of the Dickenson, Peterson, and Lano <br />Equipment properties. Staff met with Brad Lano, owner of Lano Equipment, regarding Lano <br />Equipment's intentions for future development on their parcel. Mr. Lano was receptive to the <br />idea of redeveloping the subject area and stated a willingness to work with the City on a <br />comprehensive redevelopment plan for the project area. Staff is in the process of calculating <br />potential TIF assistance for Lano Equipment based on future expansion plans provided to Staff <br />by Mr. Lano. <br /> <br />At the November EDA meeting, Staff was directed to make initial contact with Mr. Peterson <br />regarding the sale of his property. Staff met with Bob Carlson of Premier Commercial Properties <br />on January 10, 2001 to discuss the land price for the Peterson property. Mr. Peterson is asking a <br />considerable amount for the 2.4 acre parcel. Mr. Carlson will be contacting his client regarding <br />the possibility of the City purchasing the property and what price could be negotiated.
