To address this change in the norm the City of Ramsey has begun marketing its
newest industrial park. Sunfish Business Park, which is located just south of the Sanitary
Landfill, will be ready for development soon and the city is trying to obtain commitments from
prospective businesses. To this date the City -is negotiating with two businesses and would like
to the rest of the park to be developed. Our major marketing focus will be running ads in the
Real Estate Journal and creating a brochure that will be placed in the Business Journal. The ad
for the Real Estate journal will run in the late July edition and the brochure should be ready for
publication in the Business Journal by late August. The brochure may also be sent out as a direct
mailing.piece, to be sure we reach our desired audience.

EDA: 7.22.02

Review Checklist:
City Administrator

15
