LANO EQUIPMENT/SOUTH OF HIGHWAY #10 DEVELOPMENT <br /> By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Staff has been in contract with development prospects in the past few weeks regarding the <br />development of the Dickenson Property (south of Highway #10 immediately adjacent to the <br />Anoka boarder) and the Peterson Property (between Dickenson Property and Lano Equipment). <br />The map of the area is attached to the case. <br /> <br />Staff has more recently been in discussions with Lano Equipment about the possibility of <br />acquiring all or a portion of the Peterson Property for expansion of their business. Lano would <br />also agree to reorient the outside display of their equipment to the rear portion of their property <br />as to eliminate the "cluttered" look t° the business.
