Acting Mayor DeLuca and Councilmembers Peterson and Cich were in favor of retaining <br />the park placement as recommended by the Park Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve the <br />preliminary plat of Sorteberg's 6th Addition as stipulated in the City Engineer's review of <br />September 26, 1989 and with the establishment of a restrictive covenants for the plat that is <br />agreeable to both the City and the developer. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor DeLuca, Councilmembers Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Reimann. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Haubrich Addition; <br />Case Of John And Marilyn Haubrich: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart stated that the plat of Haubrich Addition consists of 17.2 acres proposed to <br />be subdivided into six rural residential lots. The Planning and Zoning Commission, the <br />Park and Recreation Commission and City Staff recommend approval of the preliminary <br />plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve the <br />preliminary plat for Haubrich Addition contingent upon meeting the items listed in the City <br />Engineer's report dated September 26, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor DeLuca, Councilmembers Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Reimann. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request For Final Plat Approval Of Garden Of Hope Addition; <br />Case of Cross Of Hope Lutheran Church: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart stated that Garden of Hope Addition is a plat for a cemetery; because of it's <br />uniqueness, it has not been reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission nor the Park <br />and Recreation Commission; City Staff is recommending waiving the park dedication fee. <br />Mark Banwart noted that the conditional use permit for the cemetery was issued in 1988 <br />and requires the applicant to provide proper vehicle access to the cemetery. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich explained that ultimately, the church could abandon the cemetery and it <br />would then be reverted back to the City and the City wants to have accessibility to that <br />cemetery at all times. <br /> <br />Dale Olson was present representing Cross of Hope and indicated that there is an easement <br />for access. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution//89-10-285 approving the final plat of Garden of Hope Addition and directing <br />the City Attorney to verify that access easement is provided for. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor DeLuca, Councilmembers Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None.
