Mr. Hartley noted that Mn/DOT is also in the process of designing a crosswalk for <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />b) Epilepsy Month <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconed by Councilmember Peterson to proclaim <br />November as Epilesy Month. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Northern Mayors Association <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that there will be a meeting of the Northern Mayors Association on <br />December 5, 1989 at 6:00 p.m.; <br /> <br />d) Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson noted that the Road and Bridge Committee will be meeting on <br />Friday, November 10, 1989; any issues of concern should be brought to the attention of <br />himself or Councilmember Pearson for inclusion on that meeting agenda. <br /> <br />e) Air Emissions in Industrial Zone <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that citizens have complained about black smoke emitting <br />from the area of the Gateway North Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that there are two businesses in that are that are creating emissions; the <br />PCA has been notified and will be investigating both of the establishments. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adjourn the <br />special City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
