property by October 31, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />approval of the request by Berndt Development Co., Inc. for a conditional use <br />permit to move a residential garage to 6159 Highway 10 N.W. in the B-1 Business <br />district for commercial use. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Howell, Hendriksen, and LaDue. Voting no: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Requirement for Certificate of LOS Surveys <br /> <br />Community Development Director Norris stated that staff needed additional <br />direction regarding certificate of lot surveys - especially large (over 10 <br />acres) residential lots. Such certificates should be required for commercial <br />and industrial construction. <br /> <br />The Commission directed that they felt that any residential construction on <br />lots of 10 acres or less needed to submit a certificate of lot survey when <br />applying for a building permit. <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Action Plans <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the action plans for the priority activities and <br />assigned the following Commissioners to the following Action Teams. <br /> <br />Improved Communication <br />Improved Enforcement of Laws <br />Drainage Outlets <br />Transportation Improvements <br />Improve Appearance of Ramsey <br />Early Warning System <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson <br />Commissioner Howell <br />Commissioner Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Deemer <br />Commissioner Zimmerman <br />Commissioner LaDue <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Checklists for'~Various Planning Requests <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed checklists for requests for conditional use permits, <br />variances, rezonings, planned unit developments, site plan reviews and <br />subdivisions. The Commission noted that the Planning Commission should be <br />involved in the review of the final plan for planned unit developments. The <br />Commission noted that the checklists would be useful. <br /> <br />Information Items <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following: <br /> <br />1. City Council tabled action on revocation of Mr. Root's conditional use <br />permit for 14600 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. until October 28, 1986. <br /> <br />2. City Council granted preliminary plat approval to Stanhope River Hills. <br /> <br />3. City Council tabled preliminary plat approval of Autumn Meadows pending <br />provision by Mr. Johnson of emergency second access to plat. <br /> October 7, 1986 <br /> <br />-7 - <br /> <br /> <br />
