his 40 acres loccated west of County Rd. #5 and north of 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />The Commission advised that Mr. Bertils provide his engineer with a copy of <br />City ordinances to insure compliance with platting requirements. With respect <br />to the plat, the Commission recommended that Garnet Street be extended from the <br />south property line to the northern boundary; that 168th extend off Garnet <br />Street to access the property to the west; and that the access onto County Rd. <br />#5 be eliminated. The Commission advised Mr. Bertils to submit another sketch <br />plan prior to requesting preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Discqssion Regarding Development Standards For Commercial And <br /> Industrial Areas: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />address Case #8 as the last order of business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, Shumway, <br />Zimmerman, Howell, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ase #9: Information Items: <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following: <br /> <br />1. The Park Commission reviewed Northfork development for park dedication and <br />determined a proposed trail corridor and park area to tie into the existing <br />Whispering Pines Park and to link to the Trott Brook corridor. <br /> <br />2. City Council approved David Tranby's request for a metes and bounds <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />3. City Council approved Mr. and Mrs. Roger Meyers' request for a metes and <br />bounds subdivision. <br /> <br />4. City Council denied Mr. Scott Springer's request for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a now plowing operation from his home. <br /> <br />5. City Council approved Mr. Raudio's request for final plat approval of the <br />simple subdivision with 3 lots going east and west, a plan originally discarded <br />by P&Z; with the two northerly lots using a temporary common access from Cry. <br />Rd. #83; with access to the southern lot coming from 147th Lane. <br /> <br />6. City Council granted Mr. Root a 30 day extension to comply with the terms <br />of his conditional use permit to operate an automobile sales and repair lot. <br /> <br />7. City Council approved a metes and bounds subdivision for Mr. Bruch Bacon. <br /> <br />8. City Council granted final plat approval to Green Valley Estates. <br /> <br />9. City Council tabled action on Planning and Zoning comments regarding Plants <br />and Things until the September meeting when a representative of the Planning <br />Commission can be present to discuss this matter with Council. <br /> <br />Consensus was that the entire Planning and Zoning Commission attend the <br />September 23, 1986 Council meeting. <br /> September 2, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
