Cotmcilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH PALEN KIMBALL FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF VENTILATION SYSTEM IN <br /> FIRE STATION #2 (CITY HALL) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, city staff has identified problems with ventilation in the basement of <br />City Hall and Fire Station #2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an analysis of the problem has been completed and determined to be <br />caused by the absence of proper ventilation of exhaust in the fire station bay; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, two quotes have been received to perform the work and city staff is <br />recommending that a contract be approved with Palen/Kimball to complete the specified <br />work at a cost of $16,250. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes a contract with <br />Palen/Kimball for the installation of a ventilation system in the fire station at City <br />Hall at a cost of $16,250. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councihnember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the l0th day of November 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
