Counci hnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> FURNITURE FOR BUILDING DEPARTMENT STAFF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the hiring of a Building Inspections Permit Technician and a <br />new Building Official, the building department function will be moved to the basement of <br />city hall; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to provide a service counter and work station for the permit <br />technician and plan review space for the building inspectors and building official <br />additional workstations are needed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the purchase and <br />installation of additional workstations for the building department staff at a cost <br />uot to exceed $10,000. <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of building permit <br />revenues to fund the purchase and installation of the workstations. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councihncmber , and upon vote being tak'en thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />and thc following were absent: <br /> <br />Whcreupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 10th day of November 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
