Voting No: None. <br /> <br /> ~ Request For Metes And Bounds Subdivision: Case Of M~, B:uce <br /> <br /> Mr. Bacon was present. <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Howell recommending <br /> approval of Mr. Bacon's request for a metes and bounds subdivision on the basis <br /> that the subdivision will create one less lot. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br /> ~ Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Ann Canis And Tom Skiba: <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Skiba, Ms. Ann Canis and Mr. Norm Hoium were present for a sketch plan <br /> review of a proposed subdivision of 60 acres lying east of Roanoke Street N.W. <br /> and west of 153rd Avenue N.W. on the Rum River. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Deemer noted that some of the parcels are not 2-1/2 acres in size. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hoium inquired as to who is responsible for road construction costs if <br /> Roanoake is constructed as an MSA street. <br /> <br /> Ms. Norris stated that Roanoke will be developed as an MSA route. <br /> <br /> Chairman Peterson stated that Ms. Norris and City Engineer Raatikka will <br /> research MSA constructions costs and report back to Mr. Hoium. <br /> <br /> Ms. Norris stated that the Park Commission would like to see Lot 16 of Block 1 <br /> dedicated as park land and they will be providing that recommendation. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Deemer noted that there is park land adjacent to this development. <br /> <br /> Commission recommended that Mr. Skiba and Ms. Canis proceed with the <br /> preliminary plat process in accordance with the platting process outlined in <br /> the City Code. <br /> <br />~ ~nformation Items: <br /> <br /> The Commission noted the following Council actions: <br /> <br /> a) Denied Mr. Jurgen Zurnieden's request for a conditional use permit to <br /> operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business from his home. <br /> <br />b) Mr. Wayne Kundson withdrew his request for a conditional use permit to <br /> operate a cement contracting business from 15401 Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />c) Approved the rezoning from UB-Urban Business to UR-Urban Residential for <br /> River's Bend 2nd Addition. <br /> July 8, 1986 <br /> <br /> Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
