Bounds Subdivision... ~e ~ _Mr.. C!aranmm

Mr. Matson was present and stated that he owns a 16 acres consisting of an 11
acre parcel and a 5 acre parcel. Mr. Matson is requesting a metes and bounds
subdivision to change the configuration of the parcels in order that the 11
acre parcel, on which the home is situated, will qualify for FHA financing.
FHA will only loan money on a home with a maximum of 10 acres of land. Mr.
Matson stated that he does not have a buyer for the property yet.

Commissioner Hendriksen stated that he thinks FHA buyers can get loans approved
for more than 10 acres; the mortage would write up 10 acres as being mortgaged
and the excess land over 10 acres would not be included in the mortgage.

Commission discussed the fact that the proposed subdivision alignment results
in landlocking and insufficient street frontage.

Commission advised Mr. Matson to not subdivide his property until he finds that
there is an absolute need to. ~he Commission also advised Mr. Matson to inform
his surveyor of the Commission's opinion of the subdivision with respect to
street frontage and landlocking.

Vehicle Camnaround.-~ Case_Of _Mr...
