Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #13-02-034 <br />RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT A PAID -ON -CALL FIREFIGHTER'S RESIGNATION <br />WHEREAS, on January 9, 2013, staff received a letter of resignation from paid -on -call <br />Firefighter Mr. Cory Helgoe; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Helgoe has served out of station #2 since early 2010; but he no longer <br />has the necessary time to commit to the position; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Chief is not requesting to fill this position until the next regular <br />Firefighter recruitment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Motion to approve resolution # 13-02-034 to direct staff to accept the resignation of Mr. Cory <br />Helgoe and to recruit for this position upon the next regular Firefighter recruitment. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 12t1i day of February 2013. <br />
