Griffin as Fire Chief. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to accept the <br />recommendation of the Fire Board and appoint Dave Griffin as Fire Chief. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Cich, DeLuca and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca directing that a letter of <br />appreciation be sent to former Fire Chief Bruce Hoeke in recognition of his efforts in assisting of <br />the establishment of the Fire Department and serving as its first Fire Chief. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Cich, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #17: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley presented a proposed organizational structure for the City of Ramsey for Council <br />review and consideration. Mr. Hartley proceeded to review this organizational structure with City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann requested that the proposed organizational structure be placed on the August 28, <br />1990 Council agenda to allow Council more time to review same. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that along with the proposed organizational structure, there has been a shift in <br />responsibilities in which the Finance Officer plays a key role. In order for the Finance Officer to <br />function effectively under the new structure, there is an immediate need to hire a Senior Accountant <br />to relieve the Finance Officer of some of the position functions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to table action on the <br />proposed organizational structure until the August 28, 1990 City Council meeting and to authorize <br />City Staff to proceed to advertise for the position of Senior Accountant. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #18: Approval of Registered Land Survey for a Portion of Riverdale Drive <br /> N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that part of the agreement for the acquisition of right-of-way for Riverdale Drive <br />N.W. included a registered land survey for the HolasekJHamilton portion of Riverdale Drive N.W. <br />That registered land survey has now been completed and needs to be accepted by City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve and accept <br />the registered land survey for Lots 14 and 15 and part of Lot 13, Auditor's Subdivision #30, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
