have to take care of this drainage problem. Since part of the drainage is along a County road ditch
line, the County was to supply culverts and Mr. Sorteberg was supposed to install the culverts. It
was also explained to Mr. Sorteberg that the Anoka County Highway Department would like to see
a closed conduit system to conduct mn-off from the southeast comer of the subdivision, eastward
to point beyond the second driveway. The main objective being to completely contain the run-off
within the County's drainage system. Mr. Jankowski stated that he has asked Mr. Sorteberg for a
schedule for compliance regarding the problems.

Mayor Reimann stated he would like the Planning and Zoning Commission to review the grass and
weed ordinance as it not enforceable as it is now.

Mayor Reimann stated he is initiating the cleaning up of the debris along the river banks and the
landing areas and asked that any parties interested in assisting with the clean up should contact
him. He is hoping that this attempt to clean up will discourage furore littering.

Councilmember Peterson commented that the areas along Highway #10 and Highway #47 have
been adopted to be cleaned up by different organizations.

Mayor Reimann stated that at the next Council meeting, the Councilmember's salaries and
compensation should be discussed.

Councilmember DeLuca stated that an ongoing problem in Anoka County is the growing of
Marijuana. He feels something needs to be done about this as it is close to residential areas.

Mayor Reimann stated that it is a problem that should be handled by the Police Department and
then once it is identified as marijuana, possibly the Public Works Department can take care of it.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adjourn the regular
City Council meeting.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Pearson, DeLuca and
Peterson.
