Fred Stretar - 14284 Waco Street - Mr. Stretar said that the message he has been hearing from other
residents is that a line must be drawn and increases must be kept at a minimum. We cannot keep
paying more.

John Lucia said that he can appreciate funding for the park system as he has children of his own
but feels that such a large increase is unreasonable. Mr. Lucia also resents that capital outlay for
parks was not included in the budget, would not be in favor of a bond issue and election costs
should not be included in the budget.

Carolyn Nelson - 9335 173rd Avenue - Mrs. Nelson asked if the visual materials presented at this
meeting could be reproduced for the citizens present who would like copies.

Mr. Hartley stated that he would make copies of the visual materials at the conclusion of the public
heating.

Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adjourn the
public hearing.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and
Peterson. Voting No: None.

The public heating adjourned at 8:25 p.m.

Respectfully Submitted,

Colleen C.
