Councilmember-Elect Hardin felt the issues of future expansion, <br />permanent ownership and operation of the airport needs to be <br />addressed quickly, <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Peterson stated the most common complaint has been <br />with the new ordinance. There are a number of violations in the <br />City that are eye sores; however, he didn/t think certain people <br />should be singled out. If the ordinance is going to be enforced, <br />It should be enforced uniformly throughout the City; and the <br />Council wl]] need to back that objective with funding. <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Peterson felt another area that needs consideration is <br />to work with the business con~nunity on signing. He suggested each <br />member of the new Council make a list of what they would like to <br />see accomplished by the next ac~ninistration. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated he would like to see the Council, Administrative <br />Staff, Police and Fire Chiefs spend a day as a group some place <br />away from City Hall to discuss ideals, Goals, guidelines, etc. <br />The general consensus was that the suggestion is a Good one and one <br />that should be explored further. <br /> <br />Councllmember rich wanted to address the problems with the City <br />automated system as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Peterson stated he is working on a Performance <br />Management Plan for cutting costs, saving tlme and working smarter. <br /> <br />AD$OURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember-Elect Hardin, Seconded by Counci]member- <br />Elect Beyer, to adjourn.
