REVIEW Case OF TRAIL ALIGNMENT AND 'IOT-LOT PARK AT NORTHFORK P.U.D.; CASE OF NORTH FORK, INC. By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director #3 Background/Observations: As you may recall, on May 9, 1989, the City of Ramsey and North Fork, Inc. entered into a Park Dedication Agreement which was an addendum to the Northfork P.U.D. Park Dedication Agreement dated February 19, 1987. In this addendum, the proposed trails would be increased to 75 feet with an alignment as shown on Exhibit B. The fee title to portions of this trail would be conveyed to the City upon replatting of any portion of Outlot C of Northfork P.U.D. Another provision of the addendum stated that on or before the platting of no more than 125 lots in the entire Northfork P.U.D., there should be a determination of the location of two (2) one acre neighborhood parks required as per the agreement. It is understood that such parks may be located in areas other than as indicated in the Agreement and as such, 2 acres could be consolidated into one (1) park, upon mutual consent of the City and Developer. North Fork, Inc. has requested at this time for the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission to determine the appropriate alignment of the trail North of Northfork 3rd Addition as well as consideration of the location of the tot-lot. For your information, the following item is enclosed: A) Addendum to Park Dedication Agreement with Exhibit A, B, C, D and E. Staff Recommendation: As presented at meeting.
