The Park Department reserves the right to regulate and control the size of the group <br />or organization using the park facility. Also, if it is deemed necessary and within <br />the best interest of the City of Ramsey for its protection. The City may require: <br /> <br />The user to furnish a certificate confirming liability insurance in the <br />minimum amounts of $50,000 - $300,000 bodily injury and $25,000 <br />property. <br /> <br />All Ramsey City Parks must be vacated by 10:00 p.m. unless posted differently or <br />specified on the permit. <br /> <br />All groups are responsible for repaying, in full, any and all damages resulting from <br />theft or vandalism to any equipment or facilities used during the rental period. The <br />City will not be responsible for losses of personal property by individuals or <br />groups when park facilities are being used for a permit activity. <br /> <br />No motorized vehicles or machines are allowed in or upon any City park unless a <br />permit has been approved and issued by the Park Department and so displayed on <br />the vehicle(s) - in clear sight of the Police Department. All other vehicles must park <br />in designated areas or roadway where permitted. Parking violation fines may be <br />issued by the Police Department if this policy is disregarded. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Permits are valid only for the date, time, and place specified on them and must be in <br />the users possession for verification if needed. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />When a key is needed for lights or entrance into a reserved facility, the applicant <br />may obtain the key from City Hall with the permit. This key CANNOT be <br />transferred to another user, individual, or group under any circumstances. It <br />MUST be returned immediately after the event or time allowed is completed. <br />Failure to return the key within five (5) days of permit expiration will subject the <br />permit holder to a fine in the amount of $25.00 and forfeiture of the privilege to use <br />a park facility until paid. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Indoor permits will be issued for a maximum period of four (4) hours unless an <br />extension is authorized by the Park Department. The user must relinquish the <br />facility at the proper time specified on the permit. <br /> <br />Outdoor permits will be issued only for the event and the time it reasonably takes to <br />complete said event. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Structures and equipment shall not be altered or moved from one area to another <br />unless specifically mentioned on the permit and by or under the direct supervision <br />of a City employee. Extra or unusual services for programs or activities must be <br />identified in the permit. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />All groups/organizations using park facilities shall provide an adult supervisor who <br />shall remain with the group during all activities and be responsible for the groups <br />conformance to all appropriate rules, regulations and policies. The supervisor will <br />be identified on the permit if the person is not the user. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Refunds will be given only. if cancellation is made no less than two weeks prior to <br />the reserved date of the permit. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />There will be no clean-up deposits made; however, the City reserves the right to bill <br />the permit holder(s) if the permit holder is insufficient in cleaning up after their <br />event or usage.
