I :1 I i I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Commission Member introduced the following resolution and moved to recommend adoption: RESOLUTION #90-12- RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY FOR SIGNING OF CITY PARKS WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey has supported the development of a park and recreation system in the City. WHEREAS, twelve of the City parks have some development, but are not all identified with signs, and form of WHEREAS, park identification signs benefit users, and aid maintenance and emergency response efforts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City desires to enhance safety for recreational users within the City park system. 2) That the developed parks be provided with park identification signs located in the vicinity where parkland meets public right- of-way. 3) That it shall further be the policy of the City to sign existing developed parks with identification signs as funds permit. 4) That it is realized that due to funding limitations, it may require several years to complete the process of installing identification signs at existing parks. The motion to recommend adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commission Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly recommended for adoption by the Ramsey city Council this the t3th day of December, 1990.
