I <br />:1 <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Commission Member introduced the following resolution <br />and moved to recommend adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY FOR SIGNING OF CITY PARKS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey has supported <br />the development of a park and recreation system in the City. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, twelve of the City parks have some <br />development, but are not all identified with signs, and <br /> <br />form of <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, park identification signs benefit users, and aid <br />maintenance and emergency response efforts. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City desires to enhance safety for recreational users <br />within the City park system. <br /> <br />2) That the developed parks be provided with park identification <br />signs located in the vicinity where parkland meets public right- <br />of-way. <br /> <br />3) That it shall further be the policy of the City to sign <br />existing developed parks with identification signs as funds permit. <br /> <br />4) That it is realized that due to funding limitations, it may <br />require several years to complete the process of installing <br />identification signs at existing parks. <br /> <br />The motion to recommend adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Commission Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly recommended for <br />adoption by the Ramsey city Council this the t3th day of December, <br />1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
