RAYMOND A. PRASCH
MINN. REG. NO, 6743

LOT SURVEYS COMPANY
LAND SURVEYORS
REGISTERED UNDER LAWS OF STATE OF MINNESOTA

7601 - 73r0 Ave. No. 560-3093
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55428

January 11, 1990

Mr. Mark S. Banwart
City of Ramsey
15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W.
Ramsey, MN 55303

Re: Certificates of survey for building permits

Dear Mark:

In response to your letter of January 4 we find our costs for
the information you will be requiring for surveys to be as
follows:

1. Typical 80 lots (sewered areas) $225.00 to $275.00
2. Typical 2.5 Acres lots (unsewered areas) $250.00 to
$350.00

The above costs would be typical for new plats where irons
are in place and the boundary lines are established. OiOer
plats or plats without irons in place would cost more.

One of the problems we have had in other cities is obtaining
development plans showing the proposed grades, types of
buildings permitted, minimum basement elevations where
applicable etc. It would help if we could purchase a copy
from the city.

Another problem is obtaining minimum setback requirements as
each plat can have zoning changes, vaMiances etc., possibly
someone in the city could be designated for us to caii for
information.

It appears that the information you are requesting compares
with requirements in adjoining cities and with cooperation of
builders, surveyors and the city the problems should be
eliminated.

Thank you for your cooperation.
S~.~erely; ~

RAP/tp
