CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />INFORMATION REQUIRED ON CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY <br /> <br />Prior to issuance of a building permit for construction of any new principal structure, a title <br />opinion shall be provided to the surveyor and to the City. Three (3) copies of a Certificate of <br />Survey prepared and attested by a registered surveyor must be submitted with all building plans for <br />approval by the City. The new principal structure shall be staked by the surveyor. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Scale of drawing, north arrow, and legal description of property. <br /> <br />Names of all abutting streets, dimensions of all lot lines, as well as dimensions and <br />locations of ,hLL easements of record. (This information shall be provided to the surveyor <br />as per title opinion.) <br /> <br />Property Identification Numbers (P.I.N.) included on Certificate of Survey when available <br />and lot and block numbers in appropriate subdivision. <br /> <br />Location of iron on line stakes established by the surveyor along each side lot line at the <br />proposed front set-back. The maintenance of these stakes, once established by the <br />surveyor, shall be the responsibility of the building permit applicant. <br /> <br />Benchmark description, elevation, and location. Benchmarks are available from the City <br />Engineer's office or City Hall. <br /> <br />Grade elevations to mean sea level datum (1929 NGVD) at the following points: <br /> <br />Existing and proposed at each lot comer. <br />Crown of street at each lot line extended, or top of curb. <br />Existing and proposed at all major comers of proposed structure. <br />Proposed basement, finished floor, floor level (minimum of one foot (1') above <br />mottled soils) - soil borings may be required prior to survey - (FHA-VA <br />requirements may prevaiI). <br />Proposed garage floor elevation - eighteen inches (18") above street where <br />applicable. <br /> <br />g. <br />h. <br /> <br />j. <br /> <br />Proposed top of foundation. <br />Elevation at any proposed break in grade along property lines. <br />Existing and proposed elevations at any point along the property line intersected by <br />an adjoining property line. <br />The top of foundation and ground elevation of any existing buildings located on <br />adjacent lots. (See attached sample survey) <br />Structures in Scenic and Critical Waters Area shall conform to appropriate <br />ordinances. <br /> <br />Proposed retaining wails to be constructed as part of the final grading, showing location, <br />top and bottom elevations (retaining walls over 48 inches of height require guard rails). <br /> <br /> <br />
