ORDINANCE NO. 90- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br />NAR 2 9 1990 <br /> ............ <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 110.07 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />ENTITLED "HORSES". <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Chapter 110.07 of the City Code is hereby amended to read a <br />follows: <br /> <br />110.071 HORSE DEFINED <br /> <br />As used in this chapter, horse shall mean any stallion, mare, <br />gelding, foal, pony, donkey, ass, burro, mule or animal of <br />horse kind. <br /> <br />110.072 ACREAGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The following chart prescribes the number of horses <br />that can be maintained on the lot sizes as shown: <br /> <br />Acreage. <br /> ~,~q <br />1.5-3.0/acres <br /> <br />Number of Horses Permitted <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3. O/acres <br /> <br />3~cres or more <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />2+ <br /> <br />Comments <br /> <br />Permitted only <br />with <br />conditional <br />use permit <br /> <br />Sketch plan <br />required <br /> <br />One additional <br />horse for each <br />full 1/2 acre <br />over 3 acres is <br />permitted <br /> <br />110.073 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPROVAL REQUIRED <br /> <br />Prior to maintaining and boarding a horse or horses <br />on any lot or parcel within the City which lot or <br />parcel is less than three (3) acres in size, a <br />conditional use permit (CUP) the land owner shall <br />apply for and obtain a CUP from the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
