Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt Resolution <br />//90-08-286 related to the preservation of the natural values of the land acquired in Section 23, <br />Township 32 North, Range 25 West, lying west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Adopt Ordinance Changing Lithium Street N.W. to Neon Street N.W. <br /> in the Recorded Plat of Hall Anderson Acres Addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt Ordinance <br />~t90-19 changing Lithium Street N.W. to Neon Street N.W. in the recorded plat of Hall Anderson <br />Acres Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Receive Bids for Central Park Softball Fields Improvement Project <br /> #90-26 <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that bids were received for ballfields at Central Park. The low bid was <br />$72,508.91 using volunteer labor and the alternate bid which included labor by the contract was <br />$11,300.00 higher. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />//90-08-287 Accepting Bids (including volunteer labor) for Central Park Softball Fields and <br />Awarding a Contract to Matt Bullock Contracting, Inc. of St. Michael, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Peterson, DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Consider use of CDBG Funds <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that City Staff is recommending that CDBG Funds be used for additional park <br />improvements at River's Bend Parks. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#90-08-288 Authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to Enter into an Agreement with Anoka <br />County for re-using CDBG revolving loan funds for park improvements at River's Bend Park. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca requested that City Staff consider using a portion of <br />the CDBG Funds to construct a weather shelter at the park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmember Pearson, Peterson, Cich, and <br />DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #i0: <br /> <br />1991 Proposed General Fund Operating Budget and Proposed 1991 <br />Payable Property Tax Levy <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />4/90-08-289 setting the proposed payable 1991 property tax levy. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
