I arrived in the area and observed this smoke. I could see <br /> <br />it was coming from the industrial park area off Azurite and Basalt area. <br /> <br />I arrived at Danny's Aluminum 14050 Basalt. <br /> <br />observed alit of smoke <br /> <br />coming from a mechanical unit outside the building. I opened the door <br /> <br />and found the inside of the building filled with smoke. Ramsey Fire <br /> <br />was also present at this time. An6ka Fire was ordered. I refused to <br /> <br />enter the building due to the toxic smell of the smoke. Other fire fighters <br /> <br />waited till Anoka arrived with air masks. A worker was inside the office ar. <br />He said there wasa fire in the fil~er area of the system. ~hen asked how <br />long it had been burning, he thought sometime last night. His shift is <br />from 2000hrs till 0800hours A person was called to look at the unit and <br />possibly fix the problem. The burners were not shut off at the time of <br />arrival. Question as to why they were left on if known fire in the filter <br />system. I had 2800 contact key holder info on the business when we first <br /> <br />arrived as we did not know what toxins were being emitted in the air. <br /> <br />2800 advised they spoke to the Father of the owner. He^uncopperatixe and <br /> <br />refused to give the number of where the o%~ner was at as well as the ownner~ <br /> <br />.~OC <br /> <br />home phone number.
