OPERATIONAL PLAN

The request for a Conditional Use Permit is being made to relo-
cate a recycling business, biaterials accepted would be glass,
paper, plastic, aluminum, brass, copper, etc.

Much consideration has been given to isolate the recovery and
storage process from public view. Per the site plan, the
facility has been divided into two sections: Area A - Front
Portion and Area B - Rear Portion.

Area A would be used to purchase recycleable material
ri~ t-he public. It is anticipated when fully operational,
there would be approximately 30-40 cars per day. See Site
Plan: ~
A-1 Customer Parking
A-2 Unloading Area
A-5 Scale and Can Separator
A-4 Scale Office

Area B would b.e used.for Pr0dmction. loading docks and
recovery area. It is separated from Area A by a screened
security fence and gate.

B-2

Production Area covered by a steel canopy
would house two methane-fueled melt furnaces
and two holding areas for feedstock. Feed-
stock would be melted and poured into a small
casting machine, or 800 lb. ingots. Production
level is estimated to average 10,000 lbs. per day.

Dokks where larger loads of feedstock would
b-~ unloaded and moved to the melting area.
Finished material would be loaded for shipment.

Recycled Material Docks/Holding Area. To
maximize neatness an-h-d--~inimize han-~--d-fing,
material such as glass, plastic, office paper,
cardboard and newspaper would be moved from
Area A-2 and A-3 here unless additional pro-
cessing is needed. In that case, the material
would go to the appropriate'produttion area.
