OPERATIONAL PLAN <br /> <br />The request for a Conditional Use Permit is being made to relo- <br />cate a recycling business, biaterials accepted would be glass, <br />paper, plastic, aluminum, brass, copper, etc. <br /> <br />Much consideration has been given to isolate the recovery and <br />storage process from public view. Per the site plan, the <br />facility has been divided into two sections: Area A - Front <br />Portion and Area B - Rear Portion. <br /> <br />Area A would be used to purchase recycleable material <br />ri~ t-he public. It is anticipated when fully operational, <br />there would be approximately 30-40 cars per day. See Site <br />Plan: ~ <br /> A-1 Customer Parking <br /> A-2 Unloading Area <br /> A-5 Scale and Can Separator <br /> A-4 Scale Office <br /> <br />Area B would b.e used.for Pr0dmction. loading docks and <br />recovery area. It is separated from Area A by a screened <br />security fence and gate. <br /> <br />B-2 <br /> <br />Production Area covered by a steel canopy <br />would house two methane-fueled melt furnaces <br />and two holding areas for feedstock. Feed- <br />stock would be melted and poured into a small <br />casting machine, or 800 lb. ingots. Production <br />level is estimated to average 10,000 lbs. per day. <br /> <br />Dokks where larger loads of feedstock would <br />b-~ unloaded and moved to the melting area. <br />Finished material would be loaded for shipment. <br /> <br />Recycled Material Docks/Holding Area. To <br />maximize neatness an-h-d--~inimize han-~--d-fing, <br />material such as glass, plastic, office paper, <br />cardboard and newspaper would be moved from <br />Area A-2 and A-3 here unless additional pro- <br />cessing is needed. In that case, the material <br />would go to the appropriate'produttion area. <br /> <br /> <br />
