The City may order the Permit Holder to <br />undertake corrective actions within specific timeframes based <br />on test results or evaluations to remedy pollution problems <br />or nuisance complaints. If the Permit Holder fails to take <br />corrective action within specified time frames, it may be <br />determined by the City Council to be a violation of the CUP <br />and cause for permit revocation. <br /> <br />Dissassembl¥ of Engines, Transmissions, Other Feedstock. <br />Dissassembly of engines, transmissions and other feedstock <br />shall not be permitted on the Site under this Conditional Use <br />Permit unless conducted wholly within the building in Area B <br />designated on the site plan. Cutting of uncontaminated <br />feedstock to fit the melt furnaces may be conducted outside <br />the building in Area B only if completely screened from public <br />roadways and adjacent properties. <br /> <br />Storage of Recyclable Materials, Feedstock, Separated <br />Materials. Recyclable materials and storage of materials <br />which are used in or result from the processing operation is <br />permitted on Site providing that stockpiles are properly <br />contained and screened from adjoining properties and City <br />streets. The height of all stockpiles shall be maintained at <br />a height lower than that of the screen fence. <br /> <br />Oil Residues. The Permit Holder shall store all feedstock <br />material with oil residues within covered, leakproof con- <br />tainers so as to minimize potential stormwater runoff <br />contamination. <br /> <br />Outside Storage of Materials and Equipment. The outside <br />storage of debris or materials for aluminum processing and <br />inoperable vehicles whether or not it is considered feedstock <br />and inoperable equipment shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />Site Improvements. <br />Codes. <br /> <br />Site improvements shall comply with City <br /> <br />Hazardous Wastes. No hazardous wastes, as defined by the U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency or Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency (MPCA) other than fuels defined as hazardous for <br />characteristics for ignitability and lead content shall be <br />burned, stored or handled at the facility. <br /> <br />Ash. Ail ash from the facility shall be removed from the site <br />on a regular basis, shall not be stockpiled in excess of 35 <br />tons on the property, shall be stored indoors and shall be <br />processed or deposited in an U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Agency approved landfill. All ash residue shall be removed <br />from the site as a covered, contained load. <br /> <br /> <br />
