ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> CITY OF R/~HSEY <br /> ANOKA' COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~MENDMERT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and Signs <br />Chapter of the Ramsey City code. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 170.063 of the City Code. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 . AME~DMEKT. <br /> <br />Section 170.063 of the Ramsey City Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />170.063 CASH PAYMENT <br /> <br />In lieu of public land dedication for the purposes of parks, <br />playgrounds, trails and/or open space as above described, the City <br />Council may require the subdivider to contribute ten percent (10%) of <br />the fair market value of the undeveloped land which value is :o be <br />deter-mined no la:er than final plat approval or Five Hundred Dollars <br />($500.00) per dwelling unit created, whichever amount is greater. The <br />cash payments received as a result of :his provision shall be placed <br />in a special fund by the City an~ used only for acquisition of !and <br />for parks, playgrounds, public open space, trails and storm water <br />holding areas or ponds, development of existing parks and playground <br />sites, public open spaces and storm water holding areas or ponds and <br />debt retirement in connection with land previously acquired for such <br />public purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
