Chairperson Nixt reminded the Commission and Staff he would be unavailable for the November <br />6th meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked where it is appropriate to make comments on the change to the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon stated the changes have been introduced <br />to the City Council, and will be adopted on October 14, 2003. Commissioner Van Scoy is <br />welcome to either attend that City Council meeting or make comments in writing prior to the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon noted there would be a ground breaking <br />ceremony on October 24, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and encouraged the Commission to <br />attend if available. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson advised there were 16 applicants for the open Planning Commission <br />position. They have interviewed 11 or 12 and have 2 more pending. He stated there were some <br />very good people who applied and he believes they will find a positive addition. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Shepherd Van <br />Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None.
