3) <br /> <br />tire derived <br /> product <br /> <br />None 500 <br /> <br />60 tons <br /> <br />TOTALS -0- 10,000 <br /> <br />70,000 <br />passenger <br />tire weight <br />equivalent <br /> <br />Describe how the waste tire and tire-derived product areas <br />will be designated and kept free of rubbish and vegetation: <br /> <br />The total site area (approximately 200 feet x 275 feet) <br />will be covered with MNDOT Class 5 aggregate to provide a <br />stable base for operations and retard vegetal growth. This <br />area will also be completely fenced separating it from <br />other landfill operations. Site personnel will inspect the <br />site each operating day to collect and dispose of any <br />rubbish which may have accumulated. <br /> <br />Describe how the waste tire stockpiles will be kept to the <br />10,000 square ft. by 20 ft. high limit: <br /> <br />Field staking will be set designating a maximum area of <br />10,000 square feet (approximately 100 feet x 100 feet) for <br />staging of waste tires. Site personnel will be responsible <br />for tire staging within these limits. The 20 foot height <br />limit will be controlled by the maximum reach of the front <br />end loader used for shaping the tire pile which is <br />approximately 11 feet. <br /> <br />Describe how fifty foot fire-lanes will be established <br />around the perimeter of each stockpile, and how the fire- <br />lanes will be kept free of rubbish at all time: <br /> <br />A minimum 50 foot corridor between the fence and designated <br />staging area will be maintained when the staging area is <br />initially staked. Site personnel will be responsible for <br />maintaining this corridor and keeping it free of rubbish at <br />all times during site operation. <br /> <br />Describe the present land use at the site of the facility, <br />and of the land within one quarter mile of the facility, <br />identify land o~ners, their addresses, and zoning <br />designations. <br /> <br />The present land use of the site, which is zoned <br />industrial, is a buffer zone adjacent to active fill areas <br />at the Anoka Regional Sanitary Landfill. Areas within one- <br />quarter mile of the site east of Sunfish Lake Blvd. are <br />planned as urban residential. Areas within one-quarter <br />mile south and west of the site are zoned industrial. <br />Areas within one-quarter ~nile north of the site are zoned <br />low density residential. <br /> <br />88W5-15 <br /> <br /> <br />
