9) Describe the security control measures: <br /> <br />The landfill site which includes the tire processing <br />facility is completely fenced with a locking gate. The <br />gate is open only during operating hours. The scale at the <br />entrance to the tire processing facility is continually <br />monitored during operating hours.Security cameras at the <br />landfill office continuously monitor all traffic travelling <br />on the site entrance road. All major equipment on site are <br />equipped with two way radios allowing communication with <br />the landfill office at all times. A two way radio will be <br />located at the tire processing facility as well. <br /> <br />In addition the tire processing area will also be <br />com~letely fenced with a locking gate. These measures will <br />elis~inate unauthorized tire dumping and discourage would-be <br />van~als. <br /> <br />Describa the relationship of the facility to the applicable <br />couDty solid waste management plan, and the area to be <br />served by the facility: <br /> <br />The proposed tire processing facility will serve the Twin <br />CitLes and surrounding areas. <br /> <br />The facility is consistent with the Anoka County Solid <br />Wazte ~anagement Pla~]. The proposed facility has adequate <br />cspac~.uy to process all waste tires generated in the <br />co::nty.
