CLOSURE PLAN <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />~hat is the maximum inventory of waste tires and tire- <br />derived product to be stored at the facility at any one <br />time during the operating life of the facility= <br /> <br />70,000 passenger tire weight equivalent, including up to <br />60 tons of tire derived product. <br /> <br />When or under what circumstances will the facility close? <br /> <br />A. If WMMI declares the facility closed. <br /> <br />If WMMI fails to maintain adequate financial <br />assurance. <br /> <br />If the permit for the facility expires and is not <br />renewed. <br /> <br />If the permit is revoked by MPCA or an order to cease <br />operations is issued. <br /> <br />E. If closure is specified in a stipulation agreement. <br /> <br />If WMMI fails to receive and ship waste tires for a <br />continuous six month period . <br /> <br />Describe how all the waste tires and tire-derived product <br />will be removed from the facility upon closure: <br /> <br /> Efforts will be made to minimize waste tires or tire <br /> product inventory prior to site closure. Any waste tires <br /> remaining will-be transported to the nearest permitted <br /> tire processing facility. If a processing facility is <br /> not available, the remaining tires will be transported to <br /> the nearest permitted storage or transfer facility. Any <br /> remaining product will be transported to existing <br /> markets. In the event markets are not available, the <br /> product will be transported to the nearest permitted <br />solid waste disposal facility. Any other remaining solid <br />waste or processing residue will be also be properly <br />disposed of at a licensed solid waste facility. <br /> <br />88W5-15 <br /> <br /> <br />
