10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that when the processing plant <br />is fully operational, there will be a total of six trucks <br />visiting the site during a business day; all other traffic to <br />and from the site will be employee traffic.' <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that all truck traffic to and <br />from the Site will be through Industrial zones. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be a total of <br />12-15 persons employed at the facility when it is fully <br />operational. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has proposed to improve the existing <br />property with paved surfaces, fencing, screening, a new septic <br />system and miscellaneous building improvements. <br /> <br />That the proposed use is within the city's 1990 Metropolitan <br />Urban Service Area (MUSA) but that sanitary sewer is currently <br />unavailable to the site. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has proposed the use of portable toilets <br />on an interim basis during remodeling and construction, if <br />necessary, until such time that the existing septic system is <br />replaced. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has indicated that the only signs for the <br />business w~ll be attached to the building. <br /> <br />That the feedstock stated by the Applicant will consist of <br />scrap from industrial locations, aluminum pickings from <br />landfills and aluminum parts from automobile transmissions and <br />engines. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that disassembly of <br />transmissions and engines will be done at the Hassan Township <br />business counterpart, Danny's Tranny's. <br /> <br />That from staff observation of the Applicant's operations, <br />transmission fluid, oil and grease are limited to residuals <br />on component parts. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the average period of time <br />that any single transmission and engine feedstock is stored <br />prior to processing on the Site is approximately three days. <br /> <br />That the operational plan indicates that the feedstock will <br />be transferred to a melt furnace inside the building, aluminum <br />will be separated from other metals, cast into ingots or other <br />manufactured parts and then moved to storage for cooling. <br /> <br /> <br />
