Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig, Backous, Kuzma, <br />LeTourneau, Riley, and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Approve Play Structure for North Commons <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood reviewed the staff report and <br />recommendation to approve the North Commons play structure. <br />Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to approve a not- <br />to- exceed amount of $48,000 for the North Commons playground project for 2013 <br />implementation from the Lawful Gambling Fund. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Kuzma, <br />Backous, Elvig, Riley, and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />7.03: Adopt Ordinance #13 -08 to Sell Surplus City Owned Lands <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Brama reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />adopt an ordinance to sell City -owned property at 14280 Azurite Street NW, which had been <br />deemed to be surplus land. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Backous, to Adopt Ordinance <br />#13 -08 Authorizing the City of Ramsey to Sell /Convey Surplus Land and to Waive Reading of <br />the Ordinance as otherwise required by the City Charter. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Tossey aye <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember LeTowneau aye <br />Councilmember Backous aye <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Councilmember Kuzma aye <br />Mayor Strommen aye <br />Motion carried. <br />7.04: Approve Amended Easement for Emergency Egress — Ramsey Rail Station <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report and recommendation to approve the amended <br />easement for the new utility building at the south side of the tracks at the Ramsey Rail Station. <br />Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Backous, to approve the <br />emergency easement for Ramsey Rail Station as amended from 42.00 feet to 46.00 feet. <br />City Council / April 9, 2013 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />
