CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, July 18, <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmen~ber Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hanley <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />1989 at the <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:11 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Alle~ance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve the <br />agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br /> Case #2: Discussion Regarding Extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> Case #3: Adopt Resolution Delegating Administrative Duties <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Adopt Ordinance Changing The Solid Waste Depositing Fee: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the City of Elk River adopted an ordinance on July 17, 1989 to <br />increase the cubic yard fee at the landfill to $1.00 effective September 1, 1989. The Cib, of <br />Medina increased their cubic yard fee effective August 1, 1989. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann inquired if the proposed cubic yard increase has been discussed with the <br />Anoka Sahib'3, Re~onal Landfill. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart replied that he did talk to Kathy Peterson and she indicated there would be <br /> <br /> City Council/July I8, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
