NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following City Council meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1 ) City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated June 27, 1989. <br />2) City Council public informational meeting minutes dated July 11, 1989. <br /> <br /> NOTE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1 ) Planning and Zoning public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated July 10, 1989. <br />2 ) Planning and Zoning special meeting minutes dated July 18, 1989. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 1~0 Cpl;)ital Improvements Proqram Budaet. <br /> <br />Merland Otto recommended that the Commission review proposed budget and prioritize the <br />projects in order to determine the appropriate areas for budget reduction. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland told the Commission that he feels the budgeting for the Teen Center at <br />Central Park should not come out of the Park Budget. <br /> <br />It is the opinion of the Park Commission that since the primary purpose of the Park Center <br />Building at Central Park is to house the City of Ramsey Teen Center the entire amount of the <br />construction cost should not be considered as development credit for the amount pledged by the <br />City of Ramsey to Federal Cartridge for the development of the park. <br /> <br />Commissioner Prall informed the Commission that following an inspection, the Health Inspector <br />determined that there were some improvements necessary to bring the Lion's park shelter up to <br />code or the RYAA will not be able to use it this year. <br /> <br />Merland Otto suggested that Commissioner Prall prepare a list itemizing the improvements <br />needed to bring the Lion's shelter up to code in order to determine related costs. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to prioritize the Park and Recreation budget and send it <br />along to the budget committee for approval. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION/AUGUST 10, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
