Case ~2 Request for sketch plan review of Haubrich Addition: case of John <br /> 01~d Maril_vn Haubrich. <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that Staff was recommending that park dedication be <br />satisfied by a combination of land and cash. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to recommend that the City Council require a 8' X 20' <br />strip of land along County Road 5 and the development of a 8' by 609' walkway to satisfy park <br />dedication requirements for Haubrich Addition. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Req~Jest for Sketch Plan Review for Sorteberg's 6th Addition: case <br />of Allen Sorteberg, <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that Staff's recommendation was to aquire lots 1 and 2 or <br />3 and 4 to satisfy park dedication. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland asked Mr. Sorteberg which lots he thought would work out better. <br /> <br />Mr. Sorteberg told the Commission that he felt lots 3 and 4 would be better because they are <br />more secluded then the other, lots 1 and 2 have houses very close. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission is to recommend that City Council require lots 3 and 4, block 3 <br />to satisfy park dedication for Sorteberg's 6th addition. <br /> <br />Case #4 Review Park Plans for Cedar Hills. Chestnut Hills and Windemere <br /> Woods Addition. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue. <br /> <br />Case #5 <br /> <br />Review resolution approving Polic.v Governing Appointments to <br />Boards and Commissions in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland asked the Commission if they had any ideas regarding the issue of one <br />person being on more than one Commission. <br /> <br />A discussion ensued and the consensus of the Commission was that they feel a person should be on <br />only one Commission at a time. <br /> <br />Case #6 Review and Discuss Updates to Park and Recreation Element to <br /> Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue awaiting further information from City <br />Council. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION/AUGUST 10, 1989 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
