Mr. Banwart recommended tabling action on the request for preliminary plat approval of <br />Wildwood Acres at this time because the Park and Recreation Commission will be <br />reviewing the plat for the second time on February 9 regarding park dedication and because <br />of concerns expressed in the City Engineer's report dated January 31, 1989. The Cit.,,, is <br />also awaiting review responses from Anoka Count), and DNq~. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen inquired about restrictions placed on the lots because of natural <br />gas lines. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that upcoming State legislation is proposing to establish a minimum 50 <br />foot building setback from gas lines; Ramsey will be proposing similar amendments to it's <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to table <br />action on Mr. Clayton Berg's request for preliminary plat approval of Wildwood Acres. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Holm, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request To Rezone Lots 1-6, Block 2, Riverview Eslales, <br /> From B-1 Business to R-1 Urban Residential; Case or Mr. <br /> Ralph Elofson: <br /> <br />Mr. Randy Elofson was present representing Ralph Elofson. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend <br />adoption of findings of fact relating to Mr. Ralph Elofson's request to rezone certain lots in <br />Riverview Estates. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, Ten3.,, <br />Holm, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend that <br />City Council adopt the proposed ordinance to rezone certain lots in Riverview Estates from <br />B-1 Business to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Chairman Zimmerman noted that the Riverview Estates plat has not <br />yet been filed at the County. Mr. Banwart noted that the plat is ready to be filed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Holm, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Case #4: Street Lights As A Subdivision Requirement: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart reported that per Commission direction, a sm, ey has been published in the <br />Ramsey Resident regarding whether or not street lights should be developed in new and <br />existing subdivisions.
