K.J.S. <br />Associates; Case Of Kris Fluegel And Sarah Sawyer: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwan stated that on April 12, 198;8, Cit.,,, Council approved tax increment financing <br />participation in the amount of $36,000 for the Companion Dog Training facility b:~sed on <br />the City's policy of 40c~ participation in unsewered areas. On May 4, 1988, a letter was <br />sen; to Kris Fluegel indicating City Council approval for tax increment funds to finance a <br />minimum of $50,030 in site improvements for the project. The developer has proceeded to <br />arrange financing based on the $50,000 participation figure. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley norad that City Staff is recommer~ing proceeding with the tax increment <br />project at a rate of participation used in sewereti areas (70%) as the subject property is <br />scheduled to have utilities in the near future and is in the urban area. <br /> <br />Motion b:' Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson Io approve <br />funding of Tax Increment Fintmcing for an Economi~ Development District for Companion <br />Dog training and Supply, a.k.a.K.J.S. Associates to the maximum of 'Fift3-seven <br />thousand dollars ($57,000)" based on the City's letter to his. Fluegel dated lX'I~Lv 4, 1988. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Cich and <br />DeLuca. Voting No: Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />Case #8: Personnel Commitlee Report: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee has interviewed applicants and is <br />recommending offering the position of Building Official to Mr. Glyn Huff and the position <br />of Maintenance Worker to Mr. Daniel Krantz. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to instruct City <br />Administrator David Hartlev to extend Ramsev's offer of employment to Mr. Glvn Huff <br />for the position of Building 7Official at a beginning rate of $23,400/~.,ear, increasing to the <br />one >,ear rate at the time of Class II certification and waiving the 6 monte probationaD, <br />period. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Counciimember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to ins,a'ucr City <br />Adminismator David Hartley to extend Ramsey's offer of employment to Mr. Daniel Krantz <br />for the position of Maintenance Worker at a ~ginning rate of $7.17?hour. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, <br />Peterson and Cich.
