CJ <br /> <br />The city reserves the right to require sidewalks on roadways <br />not stated in the aforementioned section. <br /> <br />Ail sidewalks shall be as designated by the City of Ramsey <br />Sidewalk and Trail map. <br /> <br />Location and Size of Trailways <br /> <br />Eight (8) foot bituminous trailways shall be established <br />connecting City parks. <br /> <br />Ail trailways shall be as designated by the City of Ramsey <br />Sidewalk and Trail map in order to connect existing trailways. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />County Road 83 from 149th Lane N.W. north to Baugh Street N.W.. <br /> <br />County Road 116 from the intersection with County Road 57 to <br />the westerly limits of County 116 within the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />E. State Highway 47'from 149th Avenue N.W. to 170th Lane N.W. <br />Sidewalk and Trail Map <br /> <br />The location and size of sidewalk and trailways established by <br />this Ordinance are hereby set forth on the Sidewalk and Trail Map <br />and said Map is hereby made a part of this Ordinance. It shall be <br />the responsibility of the Community Development Director, or his <br />agent, to maintain said Map, and amendments thereto shall be <br />recorded on said Sidewalk and Trail Map within thirty (30) days <br />after official publication of amendments. <br /> <br />5. Design Standards <br /> <br />A. Minimum requirements for both sidewalks and trailways. <br /> <br />Pedestrian ramps shall be re_ch/ired at all street <br />intersections and shall be constructed of concre%e per <br />Engineering Department requirements. At a minimum, the <br />ramps shall be in accordance with Mn/DOT Standard Plate <br />No. 7036c, or subsequent revisions thereto. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Long steep grades shall be avoided; 6.0% maximum slope <br />preferred; 8.0% maximum where unavoidable due to existing <br />terrain. <br /> <br />Flatter grades of slope shall be used at intersections <br />with streets or other trailway; 2.0% maximum slope. <br /> <br />Subgrade shall be shaped and compacted to !00% standard <br />density. All topsoil, black dirt, peat, muck or silt <br />soils shall be excavated and removed from beneath sidewalk <br />and backfi!!ed with select grading material. <br /> <br /> <br />
