The Planning <br />and Zoning Commission met on March 28, 1989 and recommended preliminary plat <br />approval of Juniper Woods as indicated on a layout dated May 25, 198t: and contingent <br />upon the subject ~ea bzing inlcudcd in thc MUSA ~undm-5' and complying with the terms <br />of the City Engineer's report dated April ] 2, 1988. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded bl)' Councihnember DeLuca to approve <br />the preliminary plat for Juniper Woods contingent upon the plat being included in the <br />MUSA [x'~undary and compliance with the City En~neer's report dated April 12, <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. ~ <br /> <br />Case -ff,.4: Request For Final Plat Approval Of Wildwood Acres Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Banw'~,ux recalled that on March 28, 1989, City Council approved the preliminary plat <br />of YVildwood Acres. lV_u'. Banwart noted that all items contained in the City .Engineer's <br />report of April t9, 1989 have been satisfied. Mn-. Banwart proceeded to review the <br />proposed resolution for final plat approval with City Council. Mr. Banwart noted that the <br />resolution has been amended to require compliance vAth Army Co.'-ps of Engineer, and an5' <br />other agency, permitting requirements. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann indicated that he has been contacted by adjacent property owners <br />concerned with Wildwood's affect on area drainage. <br /> <br />i',5,-. Otto replied that Wildwood Acres will require ',,eD, little ~ading and the engineers do <br />not see an impact to the north and east. <br /> <br />/,,'ir. John Hanson stated that he owns 80 acres northwest of \Vildwood that is separated <br />~om Wildwood by a 40 acre parcel containing 5-7 acres of developable land. lX~. Hanson <br />requested that the City require an easement to the boundary of the northwest comer of <br />Wildwood to accommodate future access to prope~, to the no:'thwest to eliminate the dead- <br />end syndrome Lq the area. <br /> <br />.~-.
