PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, <br />April 4, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Mr. Arnold Klar's request for a conditional use permit to maintain <br />more than three commercial vehicles on his property at 16020 Potassium Street N.W. <br />relating to his home firewood sales business. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimrnerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Michael Terry · <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br />Mr. Mefland Ono/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Roy Shumway ~ <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called thc public hearing to order at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Motion by Comm/ssioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to declare the <br />following three items a part of the public hearing record: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Letter dated April 1, 1989 from Mr. William Fink to the Ramsey Planning <br />Commission and City Council supporting Mr. Klar's request to maintain <br />more than 3 vehicles relating to the fn-ewood sales business. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Letter dated April 3, 1989 from Alan and Cres Schramm to the Ramsey <br />Planning Commission stating their opposition to Mr. Klar's request to <br />maintain more than 3 vehicles relating to the firewood sales business. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Letter dated April 4, 1989 from Susan Riveness to the Ramsey Planning <br />Commission stating her opposition to a firewood sales business being <br />operated in a Residential District. <br /> <br />Motion caried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, commissioners Hendriksen, La/Due, <br />Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hend.riksen to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
